ROGER COOK AND LABOR HAVE COOKED IT

Across WA, the Cook Labor Government is failing the basics.
After eight hard years of Labor, WA has a health system on life support, crime is out of control, and thousands of families are struggling to find affordable housing and make ends meet in a cost of living crisis.
Western Australians feel betrayed by a Labor Government which promised to keep WA strong but is failing to deliver the basic services that Western Australians rely on.
LABOR'S FAILURES
SINCE 2017

Our health system is broken, violent crime is out of control, our housing industry is in crisis, and cost-of living increases are rampant.
The Cook Labor Government has banked record budget surpluses, off the back of strong GST returns, mining royalties, and other state taxes, yet our essential services are going backwards.
At the same time, Labor’s pet project, METRONET, has blown out by $10 billion and counting. That is the biggest blowout on a project in WA’s history and has come at the cost of many critical community services which have been cut.
Rather than addressing the rising cost of living, WA Labor has instead increased fees and charges by more than $1,000, while cutting funding to the charities helping those most in need. After eight years in government, WA regional hospitals desperate for upgrades have been shelved, and our police force and health system are chronically understaffed.
